Nellie Plummer, OD

Dr. Nellie Plummer joined Multack Eye Care in 2017 and has since provided exceptional patient care and postoperative surgical examinations. She actively engages in cutting-edge medical research and clinical trials, particularly focusing on the latest advancements in cataract surgery. Dr. Plummer graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Chemistry. She earned her doctorate in optometry with Magna Cum Laude honors from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2012 and underwent ocular disease training with Dr. Richard Multack. She specializes in medical optometry with an interest in glaucoma, double vision, diabetes, keratoconus, and cataracts.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Plummer cherishes time with her twins and husband, engaging in activities such as hiking, yoga, and traveling.
