At Multack Eye Care we find regular eye exams and prevention with the best technology crucial to your eye health.  Our specialized staff and talented physicians are here to provide you the best care and vision possible. Lets talk about regular eye exams and why they are an important and what they look like at Multack Eye Care.

Why Regular Eye Exams are so important

Eye exams are an important part of one’s general health maintenance and assessment. Your eyes should be checked regularly to ensure that you are able to see as best as possible. Regular eye health exams will also check for signs of eye disease or conditions that can affect not only your vision but your overall health

A comprehensive eye exam, can only be performed by an eye doctor as it requires special knowledge and equipment to look around and into your eye to check your eye and vision health. Such an exam can assess whether there are underlying causes for vision problems and whether there are any signs of disease which can threaten your site and the health of your eye. A comprehensive eye examination can also diagnose symptoms of diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, tumors, cancer, autoimmune disorders, and thyroid disorders. A comprehensive eye examination will also provide an accurate prescription for eyeglasses or contact lenses.

Eye exams are critical because many vision threatening eye diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, or diabetic retinopathy have no or minimal symptoms until the disease has progressed. In these cases, early detection and treatment is essential to halting or slowing down the progression of the disease and saving eyesight. And at Multack Eye care we have the worlds best equipment and technology to do this.

What will a typical eye visit to one of Multack Eye Cares facilities look like

Thank you for choosing Multack Eye Care as your premium eye health team. We pride ourselves on providing a platinum customer service experience. This includes a diagnostic method using the most advanced ocular technology in the country. We appreciate you taking a moment to read about your Eye Care Journey.

Upon check-in our staff will verify all of the relevant details regarding coverage for your visit today. Please enjoy a cup of coffee and a magazine during your wait. (Estimated 15 minutes)

The first step of our journey will be with one of our technicians to discuss and review your medical history. This will conclude with a thorough eye exam. (Approximately 20 minutes)

The next step of our journey will be an intensive diagnostic inspection of your eyes. Drops will be used on your eyes to elicit dilation. Depending on the patient, this can take as long as 60 minutes. This dilation allows us to photograph and assess the entirety of your eyes including the internal structures of the eye.

Next, we use the full scale of our State of the Art technology to scan for diseases of the eye. With a full array of the most modern equipment available, our team is capable of identifying the early onset of major diseases. Many of these diseases do not have symptoms. The doctor will study approximately 100 images, but at Multack Eye we do not charge for our OCT scan because we believe the early identification of these diseases is a “Care First” imperative.

At Multack Eye, in respect to your time, we do not double-book appointments. In the event of an emergency, the start and/or delay of your day with us could be affected. You have our commitment to try our best to move efficiently and be respectful of your time with us. We appreciate your patience and understanding when these situations occur!

Our patients are family to us. We ensure you will receive the best patient care, service, diagnostics, and modern treatments available.

Thank you for taking time to read this and thank you for choosing Multack Eye Care for your eye health needs. We appreciate you! Our journey ends with the doctor who will investigate and document findings, and collaborate with you on a treatment plan as necessary. Any prescriptions will be electronically delivered to your pharmacy of choice. Summary findings can be sent to your family doctor and/or optometrist. Any final administrative details relevant to coverage for your visit will be reconciled by our dedicated team members.
