Jena Gilbertson, OD

Dr. Jena Gilbertson graduated Magna Cum Laude from Iowa State University, with a major in biochemistry and a minor in Spanish. She then graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Illinois College of Optometry, where she was able to publish her research on glaucoma education. She was also awarded membership to the Tomb and Key Honor Society, the Ehrenberg Research Award, GP Clinical Excellence Award, and the Politser Scholarship.She completed her residency at the University of Chicago Medical Center in ocular disease. Dr. Gilbertson is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr. Gilbertson’s clinical interests include glaucoma, diabetes, other ocular disease, and surgical co-management. She is currently accepting new patients!
